One Service as of January 5th

Leadership has wrestled for months with the next FCC step. After a great deal of prayer, soul searching and discussion the elders recommended to the board and the board voted to go to one service at the 10:30 hour. Our plan is to begin this service on January 5th.
The desire of this decision was to create strength in unity.  Our numbers took a drop at the end of 2018.  Over the course of the past year our offerings have continued to decline. Our main resource is volunteers and many of them are stretching themselves very thin to help keep up the pace and demands of three services. So, it is with hope that this step will help in many different ways.
The new ONE service will seek to minister to all. So, at this time it will be in an ongoing flex as it finds its way. Music will be a combination of all the services. There is a desire to create a setting where tables will be available. The list goes on, but know that it is a project with a desire to worship God first and foremost. Our Chairman of the Board, Rick Jones, commented; “If you come for any other reason than the worship of God, it is the wrong reason.”
One service will help create more unity. One service will help create more strength. One service will help create more encouragement. One service will help in many other ways. Please begin to pray for the ONE.
Therefore I, the prisoner of the Lord, implore you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called, 2 with all humility and gentleness, with patience, showing tolerance for one another in love, 3 being diligent to preserve the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
4 There is one body and one Spirit, just as also you were called in one hope of your calling; 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 one God and Father of all who is over all and through all and in all. Ephesians 4:1-6
