Wisdom, Faith, & Friendships
Mission: Little Tree Ministries exists to grow children in wisdom, stature, and in

favor with God and men. We desire to grow a “a good tree, to produce good fruit.”

Philosophy: To grow children in wisdom, stature, and in favor with God and men Little Tree Ministries will focus on three main areas of growth: Wisdom from God, Faith in God, and Friendships (relationships). A spiritual progression, a Biblical concept, will be introduced as follows: Seeds (K-1st), Sprouts (2nd- 3rd), Saplings (4th-5th) to promote and necessitate spiritual growth. To grow children in wisdom from God we will teach the Bible as the only source of absolute truth in this world endeavoring to teach children wise discernment between right and wrong. We will walk through Bible stories together in large group and small group settings, as well as memorize scripture together weekly. We will partner with the child’s home through parent communication cards and emails to attempt to ensure the importance of these principles in all of life. To grow children in faith in God we will teach them who God is and who they are because of Him through relational interactions between them and adult leaders and through teaching them about the faith of those in the Bible. We will also endeavor to equip parents with the knowledge and skills necessary to create a home built on a rock of faith through weekend seminars and various literatures. To grow children in their friendships (relationships) we will emphasize the examples and teachings of golden rule in the Bible on a weekly basis. In small groups we will encourage/supervise intimately social interactions between their peers. In large groups we will encourage large scale participation in team building games and exercises. Family events (such as hayrides, farm visits, caroling, parent nights, carnivals, etc…) will be held to encourage relationship building within the home.

SUNDAY SCHOOL

SUNDAY 9:30AM | FCC MAIN CAMPUS BUILDING

FCC Nevada is happy to employ the HeartShaper Children’s Curriculum, designed to help toddlers through preteens discover God through His Word. HeartShaper’s curriculum integrates Bible skills into each lesson while kids learn how to explore God’s Word and the direction it gives them. Kids are taught more than just values, they dig into questions such as “What does this teach me about God?” and “Why is this story important to me?”

CHILDREN’S CHURCH

SUNDAY 10:30AM | FCC MAIN CAMPUS – UPSTAIRS SOUTH SIDE
Each Sunday, FCC Nevada provides a children’s church service for ages 4 through 2nd grade. It begins shortly after the 2nd & 3rd services begin, around approximately 10:40am. Kids begin worship in the main services and then are guided by an adult to a great worship service prepared just for them! They learn the basics of worship services and also have a little fun as they learn the joys of serving and worshipping our God!

JUNIOR CHURCH

SUNDAY 10:30AM | 1ST & 2ND SUNDAYS OF EACH MONTH | FCC MAIN CAMPUS – BASEMENT SOUTH SIDE

We, at FCC Nevada, joyfully welcome all ages to our worship services. However, we know that there can be a difficult transition from the high energy of Children’s church to the regular worship services. That is where Junior church comes in! Junior Church is a program that is offered for kids in 3rd, 4th, & 5th grades. On the 1st & 2nd Sundays of each month, junior church offers the kids a worship service of songs, offering, communion and lesson all geared to their specific age level. The last Sundays of the month, the kids join the main worship services.

NURSERY

FCC’s nursery is provided for children from birth thru 3 years old. The room is staffed by two qualified and familiar faces, Ms Shirley & Ms Janet, who are there to greet the children each week, along with a few responsible Senior High youth that help out. Little ones will enjoy age focused Bible lessons through story time and video. The older ones enjoy small crafts that go along with the lesson. The room is stocked with age appropriate toys, books and videos. Kids are also provided a small snack and drink each visit. Be assured we have a secure check-in and drop-off and FCC performs background checks on all adult workers and volunteers for the youth programs.
